Crunchy Nuts

  • 2 egg whites
  • 6 cups nuts (macadamia, pecans, cashews etc)
  • 1/3 cup Flax Fibre
  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 Tbsp Agave syrup or honey
  1. Pre-heat oven to 120°C
  2. Lightly beat egg whites with a fork
  3. Add to nuts in big bowl and stir to coat
  4. Combine cinnamon, ginger, Flax Fibre
  5. Add to nuts
  6. Toss well to coat
  7. Place on a tray covered with baking paper. Carefully separate nuts
  8. Bake uncovered for 2 ½ hours
  9. Stir occasionally
  10. Turn off oven and allow to cool
