Prices

Green Bay Harvest reserves the right to alter its prices at any time. The price of the Goods shall be the price quoted on the Web Site on the date of acceptance of the order by Green Bay Harvest. Prices include VAT at Standard Rate where applicable.

Delivery

The goods you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order. Goods will be delivered by Royal Post (First Class or Second Class) or Parcelforce (couriers). Note that Royal Mail do not make any guarantees that Royal Mail 1st Class packet post is a next day delivery.

Freight will be charged on all orders at standard rates.

Orders received on a working day will be processed at the close of business that day and will be delivered under the requested delivery option provided all stock items are available. (A working day is any day other than weekends and bank or other public holidays.)

If delivery cannot be made to your address for reasons under our control we will inform you as soon as possible and refund or credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for delivery.

Every effort will be made to deliver the goods to you as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your product, if you think it is faulty, or you have changed your mind, please contact us by phone first. We can discuss your concerns and agree what happens next.

Damaged goods

If, upon receipt of your goods, you find they are damaged or incomplete please notify our office immediately and retain the damaged packaging. After that, we will advise you on what to do.

Other goods

In the UK, under Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, the consumer has the right to cancel within seven working days for most goods and services. This period runs from the day after the day of delivery for goods.

Please note that you can only exercise this right if the goods are unused and in the original packing. You must provide us with a written confirmation of your cancellation and you must return the goods to us at your expense.

If you fail to return the goods, we reserve the right to deduct any direct costs incurred by the Supplier in retrieving the goods as a result of such failure.

We will then issue you with a refund within 30 days of receiving the returned goods.

Ownership

Title to all goods is retained by Green Bay Harvest until full payment is received.

Legal

When buying goods and services on the Internet, you, the consumer, are entering a legally binding contract. UK law is the applicable law.

Payment Methods

Green Bay Harvest sells to Trade Customers and Retail Customers. Payment by Credit Card or Paypal is accepted on our website. If you wish to pay by Bank Transfer cheque, please arrange this by calling us first.

  • Trade Customers:-

    Green Bay Harvest offers credit on account to trade customers that have met our credit criteria.

    Payment in full for all goods and services purchased is due on the 20th of the month following the date of invoice. The customer is liable for interest of 1.5% per month and any costs and expenses incurred in recovering the overdue debt.

  • Retail Customers:

    If you are not a Trade Customer, we will despatch your order when your cheque or bank transfer are deposited with us and are cleared funds.

    • Cheque:-

      Cheques should be sent to Green Bay Harvest, P.O. Box 549, Cambridge CB1 0DS (see Contact Us page for our address). On the back of your cheque, please include a contact telephone number and the invoice number from the order/invoice that we have emailed to you.

    • Credit Card & PayPal:-

      Credit Card and PayPal transactions are processed by PayPal. This service is offered by PayPal (Europe) Ltd, which is regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the United Kingdom as an electronic money institution.

      We will despatch your order when your transaction is cleared by PayPal (normally immediately).

Data Protection

It is our policy never to sell or pass your details to any marketing organisations. However, Green Bay Harvest uses independent companies to fulfill your order, who in turn use shipping organisations such as Parcelforce or Royal Post Office.

Necessarily, your details will be passed to these companies involved in the fulfillment of your order.

Complaints Procedure

If you have any complaints, please send them to us, in writing, addressed to the Managing Director, Green Bay Harvest. See the Contact Us page for our address.
